Parkway Family Dental in Windsor Ontario accepts new patients and CDCP

The dental clinic at 2825 Lauzon Parkway also welcomes patients enrolled in the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP), the federal government program that provides dental coverage to eligible Canadians.
The Canadian Dental Care Plan is a federal benefit managed by Health Canada. The program covers Canadian residents who do not have access to dental insurance and earn a household income below $90,000 per year. Eligible patients receive coverage for services such as dental exams, cleanings, fillings, root canal treatments, extractions, and dentures.
The CDCP is not free dental care. It is a government dental benefit that covers a portion of treatment costs. Patients with an adjusted family net income under $70,000 pay no co-payment on the CDCP benefit. Those with incomes between $70,000 and $79,999 pay a 40 percent co-payment, and those between $80,000 and $89,999 pay a 60 percent co-payment. All eligible Canadians can apply for the CDCP online. Patients must also renew their coverage each year after filing their tax return.
